In Gratitude

How are YOU feeling today?

For me, I am celebrating the cool, crisp air and the sunlight reflecting the last remaining golden leaves on the trees.  I feel the static electricity in the air as I step out for an early morning walk.  The yellows, reds and oranges light up the sky as the sun rises.  A smile beams across my face because I feel so present and alive.  For the past several weeks, I’ve been savoring the presence of change – change in seasons and change in life.

It’s interesting to reflect on this year and what it has brought considering the pandemic.  A silver lining rings true in the here and now.  With all the worries and uncertainties surrounding the virus, economy, social issues, and simply everyday concerns, I’ve made it a point to notice the unexpected positives of our current circumstances.

Our entire family opened up to what is right in front of us, when the pandemic forced us all to quarantine at home – the kids’ schools going virtual, as well as both my husband & I working remotely.  The routines of coming & going came to a complete stop and allowed room for peace to run through us.  Communications became more meaningful, while rare family games become more common and generated frequent laughter. We enjoyed the slower, more mindful pace as the air filled with more calm and light within all of us.  We now have a ping pong table in our garage.  I am working less and creating more.  My husband and I made a big decision (regarding the next phase in our lives) that would not have presented itself, had we not had this time to reflect.

As we start this Thanksgiving week, I invite you to take this opportunity to pause in gratitude.  Even though we are still operating in uncertain times, we can choose to count our blessings and immerse ourselves in each moment.  Despite the challenges of 2020, I have found so much to be thankful for.  I am thankful for the tremendous amount of reflection and growth.  I am thankful for the opportunity to live a slower pace, with more introspection and deeper connection with my family.  I am thankful for the tools I have learned over the years, which allow me to navigate difficult times with equanimity.

I am also extremely grateful for my clients, who trust me to help them navigate through these difficult times.  With every session, I learn something new and I’m constantly reminded how we are all one, traveling through life’s journey together.  To show my gratitude, I am offering 20% off for your next in-person or remote session (starting in January).  Whether you are a 1st timer or an established client, I strive to enhance your knowledge or insight and seek to clear and reset you for the new year.

With Much Love, Gratitude and Happiest Holidays to You,

Dena
